I have read with interest the last few entries regarding Isabell WILKINSON and Richard BLOOD, and families. After reading the replies regarding James BLOOD and the BLOOD's of Groton and their wives, I find that I have some conflicting data. I decided I would enter them here, in hopes someone can help me discern the correct info.
James BLOOD b. abt 1605, Chelshire, England, d. Aug 1, 1674 - Concord, MA; m. Ellen HARRISON Feb. 7, 1629/30- Ellen b.about 1601 - Puddington, Nottinghamshire, England, d. Aug. 1, 1674 (Richard BINGHAM's entry show he died Nov. 17, 1683, which I believe may be correct, unless they died at same time)
Ellen could very well have been his second wife, as Richard and Robert both seem to have been born prior to the marriage of Ellen and James.
My data shows:
Richard BLOOD b. 1617 Puddington, Nottinghamshire, England, d. Dec. 7, 1783 Groton, MA. (about same time as James, was there some type of epidemic at that time?) m. Isabell WILKINSON Nov. 26, 1642
Robert BLOOD b. abt 1626 Puddington, d. Oct. 27, 1701 Concord, MA., m. Elizabeth WILLARD Apr. 8, 1653.
John BLOOD b. unknown, d. Oct. 30, 1692, unmarried
James BLOOD b. 1632 Puddington, d. Nov. 16, 1692 Concord, MA, ( it seems James and John died close together, also), m. Hannah PURCHIS Oct. 26, 1657
Mary BLOOD b. Jul. 12, 1640 Concord, MA, d. abt 1717 Concord, MA, m. Simon DAVIS Dec. 12, 1660
For their son, Richard BLOOD, I have the following info regarding his children:
Joseph BLOOD, b. 1644, no further info
Nathaniel BLOOD, Jan. 5, 1645/46 Lynn (Lydd), Essex, MA, d. Jan. 14, 1727/28 Groton, MA, m. Hannah PARKER, (my line), Jan. 13, 1669/70. (It seems like January was his month)
James BLOOD b. 1646 Frisby, Lincolnshire, England, d. Sep. 13, 1692, Groton, MA, m. #1-Elizabeth LONGLEY, #2-Abigail KEMP Dec. 20, 1686
Sarah BLOOD b. Jun. 1648, Lynn, MA, d. aft. 1711, Stratford, CT., m. Zachariah FERRIS, Nov. 17, 1673
Mary BLOOD b. abt 1652, Lynn, MA, d. Apr. 19, 1662, Groton, MA
Richard BLOOD b. abt. 1660, Lynn, MA., d. Aug. 17, 1772, Lynn, MA ( He apparently lived to be a ripe old age)
Hannah BLOOD b. Feb 1663/64 Lynn, MA, d. aft. Apr. 1728, m. Joseph PARKER Nov. 19, 1684
I show Elizabeth BLOOD, as their last child, b. 1666, Lynn, MA., m. Thomas TARBELL Dec. 1, 1686
I would welcome any imput regarding these people or BLOOD's in general.
