I am descended from Nelson Blood and Melinda Snelling through their daughter Lottie Rose Blood.
Lottie married William Franklyn Palmer, who I believe was the son of Benoni Franklyn Palmer.
(My father told me once that Franklyn was spelled with a Y instead of an I. His middle name was Franklyn, He also told me that the Palmer boys all had two middle names.)
The Palmers came through Esterville, Iowa. My line moved to Duluth, MN, where my grandmother Grace Palmer was born. From there, at least my grandmother moved to the Twin Cities.
I am very interested in any information that you may have on their ancestry.
