The death notice of Julia (Smith) Bloodwas published in the Cleveland Herald on 22, June 1833. Before 1837 Asa Jr. marries Emaline Smith. They could be sisters or cousins. They did arrive in Dover at the same time. Asa Jr. and Emeline had one son together. Samuel allen Blood. Asa Jr. and either wife also had Merrick G. Blood, Emma Loretta and possibly another daughter Caroline Foot.
