Hello David,
I tried to e-mail you today, but it came back undelivered, so I'll post here.
My line also descends thru his son Louis Phelps BLOOD. Did I interpret your notes correctly that you believe Louis's mother to be Mary, and not Martha (UNK in both cases)?
Also, there is some info on Nathan I did not have -
I show Nathan (and his wife Martha/Mary) having six children:
Nathan (Jr.) 4/14/1807 - 8/?1885, m. Harriet LESEN 4/13/1830
Louis P. (same info you show, I have copies of 1820 - 1900 Census records)
Ira - I have no dates or info
Mary - I believe she married a Mr. DRINKWATER, no other data
Unnamed daughter - married a Mr. ROBERTS, no other data
Unnamed son - Could this be the "Edwin" you mentioned?

I show Nathan (Sr.) passed away 9/8/1856 in Greenbush, Sheboygan Co., Wisconsin. I have the following Census records for him:
1790 & 1800 - Hillsborough Co., New Hampshire
1810 - Hancock Co., Maine
1820 & 1830 - Penobscot Co., Maine
1840 - Piscatquis Co., Maine
1850 - Sheboygan Co., Wisconsin

I believe it was Louis, not Nathan (Sr.), that served in the Civil War.
About 8 years ago, when I started this "hobby"/quest (!) I was talking with one of my elderly uncles about this particular family, and I believe he thought Nathan (Sr) only had one wife - that her name was Martha, but she preferred to be called "Mary." So, I don't know what to think.

Thank you very much, Alan
