oldest son of Abram, an early settler of Pomfret Chautauqua Co NY. he leaves a
widow, Mary Ann (TAYLOR) one son Clarence Lyle (born October 31, 1856)and 2
daughters, Nellie Belle, , Mrs. ANSCOMB and Jennie Mae,, Mrs. GOAT.

While Mr. Blodgett was away, Olive age 2 and Florence age 4 were killed,older sister
Bernice was badly injured and baby in a cradle was not injured.
