Hello Tanisha, if what you say is correct, then I'm your second cousin.
Your grandparents are my Great-grand parents. My grandfather was their 1st child and his name was Willie B. Blocker. He was born in Swan Lake Mississippi. Yes you are absolutely correct, my grandfather had 5 bros & 5 sis.
I remember my great grandmother (May god bless her soul), she was a beautiful woman. Her late husband which is my great grandfather Mr. Claude Blocker , my grandfather said was a huge man. He was a share cropper in Mississippi. 1 day he was at work and Claude stepped on a rusty nail and got lock jaw from refusing to go to the doctor.
My Grandfather, Mr. Willie B. Blocker had 3 children / 1 son /2 daughters which his oldest daughter happened to be my mother. So her and you are 1st cousins.
Willie B. Blocker moved to Memphis, TN and during the 1970's started working for the Army as a cook on the Railroad. He fed atleast 1800 soilders per day. 1 day his train came to NYC and he loved it here, so Willie B. Blocker decided to stay for awhile and he sent money to Memphis so that his children could come up. Later his oldest daughter would give birth to a handsome son (ME) and thus starting the New York City Blockers.
