I am very interested in your Johannes/Johan Bloch or "John". My record, taken from Manti Church Record, (L.D.S.), states he was b. 1766-8. He died Jan. 1832, married 9 March 1790: Phronica/Veronica. She'd been married first to a Johannes Lang, says a friend, who is also tracing this line. Don't know Veronica's maiden name.Their marriage record lists him as Blach at Schwartzwald Germ. Ref. Church; Exeter Twp., Berks-record of Rev. Wilhelm Boos, also. They had 6 children:
1-Sara, born Rockland Twp., Berks. 2-Henerich "Henry", b. Rockland Twp., married 6 Oct 1818 by Rev. Conrad Miller: Maria/Mary "Polly" Druckenmiller/Truckenmiller. 3-Johanes, b. Rockland Twp. 4-Magdalena, b. Pike twp. Berks, bapt. St. Joseph's (Hill) Luth. Church
5-Susanna, b. Berks
6-Christina, b. Berks, sponsors Lorenz/Lawrence Rohrback & wife, Christina.
I THINK maybe Johannes b. 1766-8's father could have been a Georg Bloch/Bloog/Block?????? what do you have? My connection to the Bloch's is thru Johann Adam Bloog/Blochk b. guess around 1750. I THINK he might be a brother to Johannes, b. 1766-8. Am I right?
