My grandfather, John Bloch was born 27 Jul 1858 in a town in Poland called Schneidemuhl (Prussia at the time). I too am seeking contact with the relatives but am finding no trail. The area they were from was called "Pozen" which is a district almost like our counties. Any possible connection? I have other information if you see one.
