In regards to this female:
I have re examined the WILL OF THOMAS BLITCH, Sr-dated Dec. 13th, 1858, Effingham Co. Ga. I reside here near the court house, and also checked again THE LEGAL RECORDS OF EFFINGHAM COUNTY, by Rev. Silas Emmett Lucas, Jr, to be certain. And I quote this will:
"Give to wife, Ann Blitch.....
"between all my children, to wit:
Henry James Blitch, Thomas Luke Blitch, Elizabeth Blitch, Elenor Jane Blitch, Georgia Ann Blitch, CANARA ANGELICA BLITCH. appoint son, Henry James Blitch and Thomas Luke Blitch, Executors. Wit: James E. Wilson, David Wilson.
found on page 196 of Estate Records.
I have answered my own question, and was in err when I stated that she did not appear in this will. So now, we can add, with ease, this daughter if Thomas Blitch, Sr. and Ann his wife.
I also found reference to this in several other sources, such a THE WILSON PAPERS, and Huxford/Pioneers of Polk Co. and South
