Schuyler Bliss, son of Eleazer and Clarissa Bliss, was born in Otsego Co., NY, in 1810, and in 1830 came to Pike, Wyoming Co.,NY. In 1833 he married Miss MARIETTA PORTER, daughter of Joseph and Alice Porter, and has had two children. He came to Castile, Wyoming Co.,NY to reside in 1871, and bought his present farm.
