Mark, I don't know whether my Philip is your Philip, but I have a birthdate of 7/31/1827 for Philip, born in Stockbrunerhof, Germany. He married a Mary and by 1860 had 4 children:Louis, Henry, Frank, and William. At that time, he was living in Marion Township, Beaver County, PA (which, incidently, is just a stone's-throw from Butler County). He was a shoemaker by trade.I do not know what happened to Philip after 1860.He was the son of Philip Blinn, born 1801 in Niederhausen (Zweibruchen, Kingdom of Bavaria), and Anna Margaretha Gelbach. They sailed from LeHavre, France, on the Ville de Rouen, and landed in Baltimore on 11/8/1833.
The younger Philip, whom I do believe might be the one that you are looking for, was the oldest child of several, of which Christian Blinn, my great grandfather, was one.I have no death date for the younger Philip.
