Hello,
My name is Patrick Chargo age 40. I live in St. Ignace Michigan. My Grandmother Dorothy (Blight) Shepard just passed away a year ago. Her father was Raymond Blight. They were from Flushing. His father was Frank Blight and his Father was William Blight who immigrated to this country with his bride in the 1840s from the Devonshire England and settled in the Fling area of Michigan. Word has it that some of the family was from the Isle of Guernsey. Also tales of shipbuilding come into the story. Anyone familar with the family please email.
