Joseph P. Blessington family

I am looking for any one related to Joseph P. Blessington, native of Ireland circa 1850's who was a member of the 16th Texas Infantry CSA during the civil war. He was the author of a book about Walker's Texas Division 1875. His wife was my great great aunt, Agnes. Raised his family in the Houston/Waco, Texas area.
