Brenda--I am confused about Pauline and the children. Henry C. married Gilla and they were in the 1870 census. Wm Jarrett was married to Virginia and they are in the 1870 census. Bailey Washington was in the 1900 census with his wife and children. The only other boy was Warren or Henry Warren. He and his wife Caroline are in the 1960 census. He is 35 which would mean he was born about 1825. Their children were John 12, Doc 10. Henry 9, Kate 8, Mary 7, Fannie 6, and Susan 5. I could not find Henry W nor Caroline in any other census. The children listed with Pauline in the 1870 census are John 18. Bedford 16, Mary C 13, Wm J 10, Henry 7 and James 4. You listed the children as John, Matilda, Bedford, Mary C., Wm, Henry and James. The 1850 census (Bedford Co.)had Henry W. Blessing age 23, Mary Age 21 and Caldonia 16. I thought they might be three of John and Matilda's children living together. Wm Jarrett is living with his grandmother, and Henry C. is married to Gilla. I never could find Bailey Washinton, Pauline and Minerva Jane. I did found 1850 census with a Read(Reed) He was 20, his wife 18 and a 9year old Jane. This could be Minerva Jane. I know I am only going over info that you already have, but if John and Matilda were your husband GGrandparents (or how many greats) then Henry Warren has to be John's father. It is most confusing. Jane
