Hi Brenda--The only information I have on Pauline is the 1870 census, Bedford county. Pauline Blessing age 47 (if Pauline was born 1838 she would have been about 32) John 18, Bedford 16, Mary C 13, Wm J 10. Henry 7, and James 4.
William Jarrett was my Ggrandfather and John Blessing my GGgrandfather. John died 1842 in Monroe Co In. He was married to Matilda. After he died I hve been unable to find out what happened to her. I under stand she died 1853. Their children at his death Warren(could be Henry Warren)1827, Henry C. 1823 he married Gilla, Mary Ann 1828, Caldonia 1834, Bailey Washinton 1835, William Jarrett Nov.29, 1836 and died Jan 21, 1927, Pauline 1838 and Minvera Jane 1841, she married Joseph Thomas. In the 1850 census David is married to Mary (Polly). He is 48 and she 47. There children Caroline 23, Emaline 20, and David 17. Also 1850 census is James Blessing 25, wife Elinor 23, and James 1 month. He is David and Mary's son. I'm sure you have all this info.
You wrote in Genforum Feb. 5, 2004 that David and John's parents were Henry and Mary Blessing of Va. You also listed all of their brothers. Where did you find this info. I have looked everywhere with little luck. Jane
