Yes, Julia, I think he is the son of John and Matilda, thus making them 1st cousins. I sure do wish I could get conformation on that though. There are definitely 2 schools of thought, as to whose kids belong to which set of parents. I get to go to Shelbyville every now and then and know kinda-sorta where the Blessing tribe lived. I've been to the Blessing-Coats Cemetery several times. Once to straighten up, trim bushes, and piece together headstones. Its easy to find, and names are easy to read. Plus I have a listing, too. The library is pretty good, and if you talk to people, they always know someone who can give more details. I live about an hour's drive away, and I also go into Nashville to the state library and archives, too. I hope I don't cover every thing that you have on Henry's sibs. W J and Ann Hamblin had 12!
