Jacob Blessing I was born in Wurttenburg (southwestern Germany) about 1728. He arrived in US about 1754. Died approx 4/30 1790 in Virginia. They migrated to Berks County PA then VA then MO per Ethel Gould's book "Genealogy Of The Family Of JACOB BLESSING I - Of Pennsylvania And Virginia" (still available through Ethel's daughter at marjqualls@msn.com).
