Looking for info. on Mary Blennerhassett.
She is said to have been the daughter of a wealthy landowner in Co. Kerry,Ireland and was disowned by her family after she married William McAdoo who worked for the family. They came to the US sometime before 1871 and had 5 children.
Elizabeth 11/17/1871, John 12/9/1872,
Lillian 12/9/1874, Clara in April 1878 and Alice 11/3/1880. The family was originally Protestant, but the children became Catholics as adults.
The family is said to have come to Lynn, MA
but no info. regarding them has been found there. It is known that they lived in Cambridge, MA.
