My great grandfather, Giles (Charles) Blennerhassett was born
in c1839. I have located him in the 1871 census in the Township of Egremont,Grey South District. He was married to Mary McCallum. His worked as a logger in Chesley, Ontario. Their descendants are as follows: Thomas Blennerhassett b. 1861 in Canada. Mary McCallum
immigrated to North Dakota in the late 1890's. The 1910 census listed Mary as the Head of Household and daughters Effie 1878 & Anna 1875 & sons John 1874 & Thomas 1880. In the 1871 census it indicated he was born in Ireland and belonged to the Church of England.
