This is not one of my families, but I just returned from vacation and visited the Blennerhassett Museum. I am sure they could help you with info on Harman and Margaret.
The address is:Blennerhassett Island Historical State Park
137 Juliana St.
Parkersburg, WV 26101-5331
Phone (304) 420-4800

web site (I can't seem to bring it up)

They showed a film which told of Harman and Margaret. They were wealthy when they came from Ireland. Harman was Margaret's uncle and the family did not approve. They built a mansion on the island and it burned after they left. They have rebuilt it and you can visit it, weather permiting.

Harman had to flee because he associated with Aaron Burr and Margaret followed. They eventually went back to Ireland very poor. They lived with either his, or her, sister there.

Hopefully the museum will help you with more details.
