I am not sure from where, in Ireland, my Blennerhassett's came. Arthur Blennerhassett was born about 1830 in Ireland as did his wife, Mary ? in England.
They came to West Zorra Twp., Oxford County, Ontario, Canada. my great-grandmother, Sarah Jane (Blennerhassett) married John Leonard Ardiel in 1871 in St. Mary's Ontario. Sarah Jane had several brothers and sisters, William and Arthur were two of the brothers. Most of them moved to Thunder Bay Ontario, Canada.
Does this give you any further information that might possible lead to a link. This is not a common name!!
