Mr. Prosser, I can't help you too much, but will share what i have. I have been researching Bledsoe surnames for quite a while off and on. I am from the Aaron, Jacob (son of Arron), Aaron, Hillsman & Martha Hinton (both are Bledsoes she distant cousin), Joseph Hillsman, Ebbie Edward line. What I found was that Jacob (son of Arron) b abt 1784 d 1848 in Bedford Co., TN & wife Susan (Luan) had 11 children. He remarried late in life to Mrs ? as she got his pension. The children were:
1. Aaron, b 6Feb1787, d 6Jul1867 in Bedford Co., TN married Elizabeth (Betsy) Hall 6Jul1815 in Orange Co., NC; 2. Amey b 1860 d after 1860 married John Hall, Jr. 26Nov1816 in NC;
3. ? Bledsoe b abt 1794 d bef 1820;
4. ? Bledsoe b abt 1800 d before 1820;
5. Martha b abt 1796 married William Thorne on 27Dec 1820 in Orange Co., NC;
6. Jacob jr. b 4May1799 d 11Mar1831 married Mary (Polly) Robards on 11Mar1831 in NC remarried Sarah Walton on 2Aug1853 in Wake Co., NC;
7. David b abt 1799 d abt 1853 married Susannah Hall on 7FEB1823 in Bedford Co., TN remarried Christina ?
8. Henry Bledsoe b abt 1804 d aft 1840 married Temperance Robeards on 19May1825 she b abt 1799 NC d aft 1880;
9. Sarah Margaret Bledsoe b 11Mar1805 d aft 1870 she married John (Jack)Wiley Wise in 1825 in Bedford Co., TN; 10. Yancey b 18Mar1806 in NC d abt 1824 in Wake Co. NC married Martha Patty) Thorne 30Mar1823 in Wake Co., NC; 11. Mary Bledsoe b abt 1810 d 7May1828 in Orange Co., NC married James Husk 7May1828.

Not sure about Lewis. He may have been the 12 or one of the missing names.
The rest is what you already have from 1850 and 1860 census data.
Hillsman and Martha Hinton Bledsoe were fairly well known and considered wealthy with 10,000. in real estate & 5500 in property. The land at the Bedford/Lincoln Co. lines use to be called Bledsoe Hollow. They are burried at Moore Chapel Cemetery on Blue Stocking Road. Several of the Bledsoe families lived in that area including Joseph Hillsman Bledsoe (my great gandfather) and Ebbie (my grandfather). Bledsoe's are also burried at Hickory Hill Cemetery about a mile away toward Lincoln Co. I believe some Moore's are burried there.
Hope this helps. Regard to another cousin. Larry Bledsoe
