My Father is Olin O Bleau (born Oct 1, 1930). He had a brother Alva L Bleau (born 1927) that was killed in the Korean War in 1950. My grandfather was Constant A Bleau (born Jan 18, 1901 or 1903 he had 2 birth certificates) and died in 1989. My grandmother was Mary E Brooks (born April 7, 1907) and died in 1957. They moved to Selkirk NY in 1938, from NYC. I think my great grandfathers name was Oscar Bleau and my great grandmother was Mary Longteau. I think I remember my grandfather telling me they were from French Canada. Grandpa was 1 of 13 children. Joe, Jim, Buck, Flevie are the only ones I can remember the names of. Dad is trying to go thru his papers and things and find out their names and birth dates if he can. I still live in Selkirk and I have 2 sisters and 2 brothers. Alva, Martha, Olin(Tom), myself and Jacqueline.
I know there is family in Latham, I use to work with a girl name Sue Bleau at the Kmart there. I think her fathers name was Jim. Her family use to call my grandfather Uncle T but I never knew why, and some of his family would just call him Connie. He worked for the railroad for years. If any of this is helpful to you or if you have any more information for me I'd appreciate it. Thank you so much for repling.
