Charlie,
My name is John Nelson. My mother was a Bleakley. Her afther, John left Rathfrierland, Ireland for the United States sometime between 1860 and 1880. John and several of his siblings are listed in the U.S. Census as residing in Royal Oak Township, Michigan in the 1880 census. I understand that John and as many as twelve of his family emigrated to the U.S. about this time. Is there information in the Bleakey's background in Ireland that would shed some light on our family histroy?
