Hi, saw your post and thought i would give you some info on my Bleakley's.......(sometimes shown as Blakely, just to confuse things)
Eliza Bleakley of Co Cavan born ca 1812, father shown as Michael Blakely on her death cert; mother unknown. Other info implies her father may have been James or John and mother Eliza. My Eliza Bleakley married Richard Griffiths of Granard, Co Longford in ca 1833 and emigrated to Australia in 1841.

Richard Griffiths brother Thomas also married a Bleakley/(Blakely) - Jane, daughter of William Blakeley (Bleakley) and Isabella Huggins of Portlongfield, Killashandra, Co Cavan. We think that Eliza and Jane may have been cousins.

Richard Griffiths appears to have sponsored other members of Eliza's family to come to Australia, namely, Anne Bleakley; Jane Bleakley and Mary Anne Bleakley.

Do any of these names mean anything to you? Any assistance most gratefully received.
Best regards, Robyne
