I know that there are few Blainey's and it's so cool to meet one from so far away. Did you say that you are from Australia? Are you by any chance related to Geoffrey Blainey, the famous Australian historian? I thought the majority of Blainey's now lived in North America (Canada). Great to hear from a fellow Blainey and I hope to hear if you come across any interesting stories or facts about the Blainey history.
