Hi Phil,
We certainly believe that this appears to be the most likely. We think that he was married first
to an unknown woman, possibly French?? We have a lot of information on him but cannot
tie him down to a marriage. Lydia Barnes (2nd wife assuming they actually married)was from
Kingsclere, Hampshire, born 1804.
