I am researching my husband's mother's father, Waldron Van Wyck--his father was George William Van Wyck (born Philadelphia); George's mother is listed on 1900 census as Fanny Blauvelt of New York married to Charles I Blauvelt (cousins?); George listed as stepson. I am unable to find any info on any Van Wyck father of George--possibly illegitimate? Both families lived close together--Mt Kisko and Blauvelt..Please check any records available and advise.
