I have an old photo of a younger woman. On the back is written Jennie M. Baker from Ida Blauvelt. Jennie is my great grandmother. I was wondering if anyone knew who Ida was? I believe she may be related to a Samuel Blauvelt (perhaps her father). Jennie's father, James Henry Baker, owned a blacksmith shop in Nanuet NY, and I think I remember reading somewhere that he was associated somehow with Samuel Blauvelt. Perhaps the girls met that way? Anyone know of these people?

Oh, Jennie was born May 26, 1872 and died Nov 15 1948. I would assume Ida would have been around the same time. The picture is probably from the 1890's.
