My husband's family (Blauser) is from Fairfield County, Ohio, originally. Abraham Blauser was a descendent, whose father (Joseph Blauser) came from Germany in 1758. Abraham had a son, John Blauser (married to Susan Staller) born on September 24, 1794; he had a son, John Blauser (married to Mary Linden), born July 10, 1846 -- his son Israel Monroe Blauser (B. Aug. 25, 1872) married Anna Mary Mae Kumler. They had Russell, Israel, Mae, Stanley, Wendell, Vivian and Marcella. There is a Blauser Family Reunion in Pickerington, Ohio the first part of July every year. Our family historian, Elizabeth Neds, has produced a book that traces the lineage of the Blauser and Kumler families back 5 generations and currently keeps the family information.
