From the GENEALOGICAL and PERSONAL HISTORY of WESTERN PENNSYLVANIA (1915):
(parentheticals are my additions)
"Rose Anne Blaurock(1850-1937), daughter of Andrew (Andreas) (1816-1866) and Margaret [Goebel] Blaurock (1814-1883), her parents both natives of Bavaria, Germany (Gerholdshofen, near Wurzburg/Munich), where they were married. After their immigration to the US they settled in Baltimore, MD in which city Andrew was employed by a coffee importing house (He shoveled coffee from boats at Baltimore for 40cents per 10 hour day). He then worked on different farms in Maryland, then moving to Allegheny County where he farmed until his death, which occurred at Carrick, his wife dying in Bethel Township, Allegheny County, PA at the home of a daughter. Both were communicants of the Roman Catholic Church. Children of Andrew and Margaret [Goebel] Blaurock: 1Anna, died aged twenty-one years, 2Joseph, died aged eighteen years, 3Margaret, died aged six years, 4Rose (my great-great grandmother, born in Clear Springs, MD) married John Lutz."
The above shows why our line of Blaurock died with Rose in 1937.
Good luck with your search. Pass along to Bill!
