Hi Karen,
I know nothing about my family before they came to the USA. I do know that my great great grandfather came here in around 1875 to "avoid the the draft", and that he was married to Elizabeth Von Essle who our family history says was the child of a Baron Von Essle but was disinherited for marring a black smith ( Great Grampa Nicholas ). I know nothing of Nicholas's parents..I do know that Nicholas has 5 sons, but the family was lost when my my great grandfather came west working for the trans canidian rail road.By lost I meen contact, not the loss of life. With a name like Blaurock we must be cousins some how, its nice to hear from you..Bill
