Hi Stuart thank's for getting back to me.My grandmother was a Blatchley her name was Dora her mother was Jane she was unmarried when she had my gran i still have no idea who her father was. Jane was born in Exeter in 1877, her parent's were John Charles and Mary,they were married in Exeter in 1877. John's parent's were Thomas and Jane, they were married in Exeter in 1848 .Thomas's parent's were John and Elizabeth they were married in Plymouth in 1816 because John was in the Royal Marines,i have a copy of his paper's when he first went in. On them he state's he was born in Exeter in 1793 i have not confirmed this yet so i am unsure who his parent's were but i have a good idea.Please let me know if we could be connected speak to you soon Lita
