Exactly.That is why i was asking here.Many including myself, still have not found a record to prove the John that i was told and show here is really my husband's gggg grandfather.I am still looking......
It bothers me that some have put this whole line online and it may not be correct.
I am still researching trying to find proof if John BLANTON b.1770 VA is the father of our Jacob BLANTON.
We are pretty sure Jacob BLANTON b.25 Mar 1806 Morgan Co., AL through some documentation is my husband's ggg grandfather and that his daughter Sarah Louisa BLANTON who m. Joseph HASTINGS are my husband's gg grandparents.
