I also have information in regards to Ann/Nancy Blanton and Abraham Womack or Thomas Womack.
They were not married and had two children, Thomas and Archer. ( Abraham Womack and Ann Blanton (.It is said that Thomas took his father's name of Womack, and Archer/Archee took his mothers name of Blanton. Thus a new? line of Blanton's from the Mothers last name.
Or were they the Children of Thomas Womack and Nancy Blanton.
Left Va. and moved to North Carolina.
May 17, 1751, Amelia County, Va, a presentment was made against Abraham Womack and Ann Blanton (Ann being a variant of Nancy ?), k for living in adultry.
Amelia County, VA, Order Book #1-A 1746 - 1751.
I have also seen Thomas Womack and NancyBlanton came from England to America about the year 1760 with two children and not married.
I believe they were already in Virgina before then ?? my accumption only.
Now -- did Abraham and Thomas Womack "live" with two differnt Blanton ladies ??
The Abraham and Thomas of which I belive them to be, married other ladies. What did they do with the Blanton Ladies?
