I am researching the siblings and parentage of Silas Blann (1794-1858). He arrived in Dallas County, AL by 1820 and is believed to have been born in Jasper County, Georgia. He married an Elizabeth Averytt/Avera?. It is believed he had the following siblings:
James Blann; Stephen Blann (m. Martha Raynor); Telitha Blann (m. Henry Averytt)and Thomas Blann who married a Polly Hardin.
The parentage of these siblings is not known. The name is sometimes spelled BLAND. It is possible they came from Johnston County, NC area to Jasper County, GA then on to Dallas County, AL. Would love to share information. URL for my website with Genealogy Information is:
