Well, I have finally found out some things. It gets confusing because there were 2 John Dennis Blanks' and I think some things got switched, otherwise they didn't bury GGrandad for 9 years! As we know there was Henry and Naomi, they had a son James b.1758/59, he had a son Allen, b.1808-11, Allen had a son Ervin b.1834 in Ga., moved to Texas M. Lucinda James RYON 9-12-1860, they had 10 children, the 8th child and 4th male named John Dennis b.1878, he married Frances B. Ellis in 1904. Now the site lists they have 10 female children, all still living. This is not correct! They had 5 children, a son Clifford, a daughter named Kitty, another daughter, not sure of name, then John Dennis b.1916 then another son Jack E.R. born 1921. Presumed still living in the DFW area. John Dennis had three sons, John Whitney b.1940, Michael b.1942?, and Steven Patrick b.1946? I haven't been able to do much follow up. But am anxious to hear and do research. Still looking for info on Henry's brothers and his dad too. Who was the first to come over? Henry was born here between 1730-34 in Va. Any info would be appreciated.
