Isabella Blankenship Bishop was my husband's gg grandmother. She was born about 1824 in GA. On July 31, 1842, she married Asa Bishop in Troup Co., GA. By the 1850
census, this young family was in Chambers Co., AL, and later Shelby Co., AL. Asa and Isabella had at least five children. Her early life is a mystery and I am hoping someone can help fill in the blanks.
