It looks as though our families are at least doubly related in that your Elizabeth Mary married Hamilton Crisler, a brother of William Ancel Crisler, who married Margaret Harriman (1833). William Ancel Crisler and Margaret Harriman's daughter, Eliza (Elizabeth) Ann, married James T. Blankenbaker, my husband's g-grandfather. We have James T. and Eliza (Crisler) Blankenbaker's family bible, which has quite a bit of their family's history in it. Also, their children kept several boxes of their family lineage data. At my father-in-law's death, much of their family histories were passed on to us, from both the Blankenbaker and Crisler families. I would be interested in seeing your information about Joel's ancestry. There were several Joels, I know. Although there was a period of time that the several Joel Blankenbakers confused me, after making a trip back to Madison and Culpeper Counties and perusing many documents, I feel fairly confident that the data handed down to us from the mid-1800's are fairly accurate. But then again, who knows! <;-) Notify Administrator about this message?
