My husband's family descend from Joel and Susan House Blankenbaker, (1795-1869), who were born and married in Madison, VA. They migrated through Preble Co, OH and eventually settled in Mt. Ayr, IN. One of their 10 children, James T. Blankenbaker (b. Dec 24, 1834), married Eliza Ann Crisler (b. 1847). These are his gggranparents. I have the Crisler family bible with Crisler births, marriages, and deaths, which does include some Blankenbaker information as well. If you feel it would help, please contact me and I'll do what I can to share.
