I am from the Wilhoit / Wilhite family lines also, ( we have "talked" before) - a few questions -
"Samuel Blankenbaker married Amy Yager (whose mother was Mary Wilhoit); Phebe Yager, Amy's sister, married Henry Blankenbaker; and Fanny Wilhoite married Nicholas Blankenbaker."

You have names as - John Nicolas Blankenbaker and Appollonia kafer -
I have names as Nicholas Blankenbaker and Maria Apollina -
Have been working steadily on my Wilhite lines these past few weeks, correcting this and that and filling in those I skipped over and they have driven me crazy - not that I had that far to go anyway!!
I had nothing on Jacob's family previously, just his name - who were his 3 wives???

Martha was daughter of JOHN WILHITE b. Abt. 1758 Jefferson,Tn. and Mary ?? They had 10 children - as far as I know,
noone has decided who JOHN WILHITES father was for sure, or Mary's last name - ADAM WILHITE has been "suggested" as John's father but I don't think so.
PETER STOUT BENTON and MARTHA WILHITE had a son-
Thomas Hart Benton b. 20 May 1844 Platte, Missouri d.12 Jun 1881 Navarro County Corsicana Texas - he married
SUSANNA PRICE 03 Jan 1866 Van Zandt County, Texas - my Great Great grandparents -
