Thank you so much for your interest in this family. My mother was Willie Marie (Dawson) Blanding. When you mentioned Joseph and Maria it made me think of Mutt(as we called her) My Mutt was born 08/30/18; died 10/06/95. Married to Joseph Blanding of Hatcheechubee Alabama, until leaving and relocating to East Chicago, Indiana with relatives (Dawson's in 1962) only returning to Alabama for vacations, holidays, reunions.
Joseph Blanding passed December, 1986.
I look forward to your continued reply and our Family Reunion is open. Since 1978 a many family members have taken the opportunity to invite all relatives to their home city for tour, fun, group photo and did I say fun...Mobile should be a treat. with most of the members of this family stemming from Alabama it should be one of the highest number of attendees thus far. It good to go home. (gas pricing considered)
