I'm answering from the top of my head as I don't have my information in front of me. If I remember right, John R was a doctor and I've read a bio on him. It was in a periodical but I can't remember which one. You might write/call the Filson Club. They would have a copy of the bio. I don't remember having his family. If I find anything else I'll share. You might also find the name without the "d" Blanford. My maiden name was Blanford. He's from one of my lines, from MD to KY before 1800. If you want what I have, I can probably find my papers.
