SC. He served in an independent company of ranger under Cpt Ellison in 1775. He married Frances and had 2 children that I know of 1. Doshea b 1824 m 1 Elijah Going m 2 John Plaxco and Elizabeth m George Placo. Edward's parents were Robert and Jane Bland of Loudoun Co, VA, had sons Robert and Edward;gp were James (b 1657 d 1708) and Margaret Bland. I info George Plaxco and his family too if you need it.
