Dear Bland Cousins, I'd like to hear from anyone who knows the maiden name of the wife of William Bland (C1751-1801) born in Prince William County Virginia and died in Randolph County North Carolina. A lonely old man in Indiana named Moses Bland wrote a heart rending letter in 1902 to a nephew reciting his lost loves (poor old Moses), and said this woman (who was his ancestral grandma) was named Julia. Other evidence leads us to think she was maybe Julia Ward, but as in so much genealogical work, we don't know for sure. Any ideas?
