I am looking to find out more about Richard Bland b. abt 1765 Crosby Ravencroft, Westmorland who married Susannah Holmes on the 3rd May 1790 Crosby Ravenscroft, Westmorland.
They had a daughter Margaret Bland ch. 17th November 1794 who married Lancelot Thwates (son of John Thywates and Ann Leech aka Liech).
Margaret & Lancelt Thywates had a daughter Susannah Thywates ch. 1st Mar 1821 and she married William Spencer Yarker, son of Thomas yarker & Cecilia Spencer.
This was a fateful marriage which came to a tragic end in murder and Suicide. William Spencer Yarker was said to be overcome by delirum and shot a male servant, his sister, then his wife, a female servant who was holding an infant (thought to be William & Susannah's infant son Richard Yarker b. Staffordshire) and then shot his wife Susannah and then himself. They had two other son's Robert + William Tywates Yarker and all three of these boys were raised by various relatives over the years.
I would like to find out who Richard Bland's parents were and if Margaret had any other siblings.
