I am currently trying to locate information regarding a James McClure who was in Lincoln Co. TN 1850, In 1860 Prairie Co. Arkansas I found a James McClure b about 1838 who is the right age to be this fellow. In the same household is a J.T. Bland age 24 born in TN, who is listed as a stone cutter, and his wife whose name appears to be Emily L. I found a marriage record for a John T. Bland age 23 and Eunice L Preston age 18, May 21, 1860 in Prairie Co. Arkansas index. The ages are close enough May to September in time frame. Are you familiar with this Bland family? Supposedly James McClure is located in 1870 at Choctaw Co. MS, and then 1880 forward in Fulton Co. AR. His stepmother and sisters are all found in Lamar Co. TX in 1860. If you have any info as to the Blands/McClure's being related or this J.T. Bland being in Lincoln County TN, I would appreciate the information.
