I never found anything to connect our John A. Bland and wife RachelLoucks to John T. I found reference to John T. dying intestate, but could find no other information at the time. The reason for my grandfather, Marion, to be in Stoddard County appears to have been following employment. I understand that timber was his main labor as he eventually made his way to Vashon Island, Washington and later the Summit-McCleary area of the state.
