In the book titled "Red River Recollections" there is two articles on this family. I would be glad to email it to you. I am also interested in your Bland Family. My mothers maiden name was Bland. Do you know anthing about this family as far as brothers and sisters of J.N.? Several of the names that are in this family have also been used in my family. I had an aunt named Annie Marie Bland and also an aunt named Gladys Marguerite Bland. My grandfather said that these were family names. My great grandfather's name was James Matthew Bland. He was married to Mamie Fisher. They are both buried in Cherokee County, Texas. My understand is that they came to Texas from possibly Mississippi. That is where my Grandfather was born. Any of this sound familiar?
