Thank you so much for providing all the detailed information about Joseph Bland (1752). You listed the children of Joseph, would you say that these children are all children of his first wife Susan, did Susan, as a widow, bring any children to the marriage, or is it unknown?
Thank you so much for any information you can supply. I feel like we're on the right track.
From what I can piece together, for my lineage, I have:
1. Joseph Bland (1752)
+ Susan Bailey Johnson
2. Thomas Bland (1789-1874)
+ Elizabeth McCullough (1796-1853)
3. Martha Emily Bland (1823)
+ Alva (Alvah) M Garrison (1817-1883)
which is then where the Blands join in with my Garrison tree. Does this seem consistent with your findings?
